Dame Lisa Carrington will spearhead a 12-strong New Zealand sprint kayaking contingent at two World Cup events in Europe later this month

Carrington and fellow Tokyo Olympians Alicia Hoskin, Max Brown and Kurtis Imrie will compete in the Czech Republic on May 20 and in Poland the following week.

It's the first time Canoe Racing NZ has sent a World Cup team since the 2019 international season.

Aimee Fisher - who narrowly missed out on qualifying for this year's world championships - hasn't been selected as she remains independent of CRNZ's centralised high performance programme.
