    Former Australian Test cricketer Andrew Symonds has been killed in a car crash


    Media report the family of the 46-year-old have confirmed the news in a statement.

    The cricking great recently attended the memorial of fellow international Shane Warne following his shock death in March.

    Symonds played 26 Tests for Australia and was a crowd favourite in the short format game as a big-hitting allrounder.
