    Andrew Redmayne has become an overnight hero for Australia, after saving the penalty that sent the Socceroos to the World Cup


    Redmayne was brought on late in extra time against Peru with the goalless match heading to a shootout and he did the job, as Australia advanced 5-4 on penalties.

    Coach Graham Arnold says Redmayne is symbolic of their entire team.
