Phil Robertson believes he could help address an obvious area of weakness in Team New Zealand

Phil Robertson believes he could help address an obvious area of weakness in Team New Zealand

The Canada Sail GP skipper has impressed Team New Zealand's sailing coach Ray Davies with his performance in the opening two rounds of the series.

Davies has indicated he would be interested in Robertson for their America's Cup defence and the Sweden-based Kiwi sailor is open to offers.

The starts have been Peter Burling's weakness in both Sail GP and the America's Cup - something Robertson says is a strength for him.
