The Tour of Southland scenery spectacle has gone unnoticed at times for local rider Tom Sexton

The Tour of Southland scenery spectacle has gone unnoticed at times for local rider Tom Sexton

This morning's 112-kilometre stage four begins at Mossburn and will culminate at The Remarkables.

Invercargill-born Sexton - who claimed stage three in Te Anau - admits he's seen plenty of what the race has to offer... on other occasions.

Bailey O'Donnell currently holds the leader's orange jersey by eight seconds.

    Stage four starts at 10.30am.
