A doctor's been found to not have appropriately cared for a woman with a rare genetic disorder - who became unwell after a Covid vaccination

A doctor's been found to not have appropriately cared for a woman with a rare genetic disorder - who became unwell after a Covid vaccination

Open Justice reports the woman died four days later.

The urgent care clinic GP breached her rights, by failing to take additional and appropriate actions over her abnormal ECG result.

Deputy Health and Disability Commissioner Vanessa Caldwell acknowledges the family's concerns the vaccine may have led to her death -- but says it's not the HDC's role to determine how she died.

A coroner found the woman died of natural causes, from a blood clot after her first dose of the Pfizer Comirnaty vaccine.
