    MetService has issued a severe thunderstorm warning across Auckland

    MetService has issued a severe thunderstorm warning across Auckland


    The warning covers from Kumeu to Albany and the North Shore.

    It warns it could bring torrential rain, causing surface or flash flooding about streams, gullies and urban areas.

    The warning is in effect until 2.15pm.
