Fonterra's due to release its annual results this morning

    Fonterra
    Fonterra
It comes just weeks before farmers are due to vote on whether to sell off consumer brands like Mainland and Anchor to French dairy giant Lactalis .

Fonterra's been forecasting a payout of about 10 dollars 15 for the past season, following a period of stability in global prices.

It's been forecasting earnings of 65 to 75 cents per share.

The midpoint forecast for the current season has been slightly lower, at 10-dollars, given the risk of global volatility.
