Police are reassuring anyone with information relating to the death of a US student in Auckland in April

Police are reassuring anyone with information relating to the death of a US student in Auckland in April

Kyle Whorrall was fatally attacked in Meadowbank - a 16-year-old's been charged with murder, and a 33-year-old woman with being an accessory after the fact.

Police are forensically testing a machete found yesterday at a nearby reserve.

Detective Inspector Glenn Baldwin has a message for anyone who comes forward.

He says they'll make the process as comfortable as possible - and address any safety concerns.
