Spark is satisfied with its latest financial results, despite falling short of analyst expectations in some areas

The telco's first half net profit and operating earnings have rebounded from last year's disastrous results, with shares up 2.3-percent to $2.19 in early trading.
CE Jolie Hodson says the economy is still finding its footing, but she's positive about the future.
She says they're pleased with the results, adding they've had a step up in the business and delivered and what they said they'd do last year.
