    The Transport Minister says upgrades to Auckland's Karangahape Road will help us meet our climate targets


    A 30-million dollar revamp has just been completed.

    It includes wider footpaths for outdoor dining, two rainbow crossings, native trees, separated cycleways, bike parking, and better bus shelters and lanes.

    Michael Wood says it means people can safely walk and cycle in the city, which will help people leave the car at home - reducing congestion and emissions.
