The 12th man and woman factor of the Headingley crowd is willing on England like its Trent Bridge predecessor, heading into the third day of the final cricket test against New Zealand

The hosts recovered from 55 for six to reach 264 without further loss, a deficit of 65, thanks to Jonny Bairstow's 130 and debutant Jamie Overton's 89.

Trent Boult was the best of the Black Caps' bowlers with three for 73, all of whom he dismissed inside the first seven overs.

However, he's copped his share of feedback from the patrons.
