Sydney Sweeney has confirmed her "boobs [are] real"

The 28-year-old actress was quizzed about her much-discussed assets by her The Housemaid co-star Amanda Seyfried during a lie-detector test, and it was confirmed she was being honest when she insisted she hadn't had her chest surgically enhanced.

During Vanity Fair's infamous polygraph, Amanda said: "I just have to ask, are your boobs real?"

    Sydney nodded and said: "Yes."

The 40-year-old actress then stayed on the subject and asked: "Have you ever had any work done on them?"

The Euphoria star shook her head and said: "No, I've never gotten any work done anywhere."

The polygraph examiner immediately confirmed Sydney's answers were "truthful".

Amanda then jokingly asked: "Can I touch them?"

    Her pal replied: "Sure."

The Christy actress' denial of having had a boob job comes after she recently insisted she's never had treatments such as Botox and fillers because she is

    "so scared of needles".

In a joint interview with Amanda for Allure magazine, she said: "Let's debunk them all [the rumours]. I mean, I have never gotten work done. I am so scared of needles, you have no idea ... "

Amanda said: "But it's really effective once you get older, I'm telling you right now."

Sydney then added: "I am too scared of needles."

She went on to insist the rumours suggesting she's had work done seem to come from social media followers looking at old pictures of her from childhood.

She explained: "You cannot compare a photo of me from when I was 12 to a photo of me at 26 with professional make-up and lighting! Of course I'm going to look different. Everybody on social media's insane."

The White Lotus actress also insisted that if she'd had cosmetic work done, then she would have fixed her "uneven" eyes - explaining one eye opens "a little more than the other" because of a wakeboarding accident she suffered as a teenager that required stitches.

She explained: "If I did [have cosmetic surgery], you guys, my face would be even ...

"When I was younger I had a wakeboarding accident right here and I got 19 stitches. So I feel like it pulls like my eye just a little differently than the other."

Sydney previously revealed she had been told to have Botox injections when she was a teenager because her eyebrows could impede her acting career.

She told Variety: "I have very strong eyebrow muscles. And I had someone tell me to fix my face or else I'm not going to make it.

    "I should get Botox. I was 16!"
