Emergency services have freed a woman who was trapped between two cars after a four car crash in Dunedin this morning

The crash involved a police car, a school bus and two other vehicles on
corner of York Pl and Smith Street about 8.40 am.

Richard Goodall, who lives nearby, says he didn't see the crash but heard
three loud bangs and then he came out and the police car was smouldering all
this steam and that.

He says when the police officer got out of the car he was very disorientated.
