Trade Me has released its latest Property Price Index, showing the average asking price in Wellington has climbed 12.3 per cent on last year.
That brings it to just over 593-thousand-dollars.
Two years ago the average asking price in Wellington was about 480-thousand dollars.
In 24 months, prices have increased by 24 percent - more then 100-thousand dollars.
And Head of Trade Me Property Nigel Jeffries says Wellington's market isn't showing any sign of slowing.
