    Armed police officers are guarding the scene of what's thought to have been another shooting in south Auckland


    A man was taken to hospital from an address in Manurewa with serious injuries about 3.45am.

    While it's the third serious incident in the area in 36-hours - Police say there's nothing to suggest they're linked.

    A 57-year-old woman has been arrested and charged with assault with a weapon, after the death of a 56-year-old man in Manurewa.

    A 35-year-old man is facing a charge of murder following the fatal shooting of a man in Otara.
