Jameela Jamil insists she "loves" Cardi B

The 'Good Place' actress clashed with the 26-year-old rapper last November over the 'I Like It' hitmaker's decision to promote 'detox' teas but the 32-year-old star insisted she meant nothing personal with her criticism

Speaking at the Critics' Choice Awards on Sunday (13.01.19), she told 'Entertainment Tonight': "I love Cardi B! I just don't like laxative tea! That's all. That's my only problem. That's why I was sad she was promoting it."

And Jameela also stressed she has nothing against Khloe Kardashian or the rest of her family, she just wishes they would avoid plugging the controversial drinks.

She added: "I think people think I hate the Kardashians! I don't hate them. I just, I really hate laxative tea."

The outspoken actress hopes her ongoing stance against the drinks is making stars think again about endorsing them, especially as she's made a number of posts claiming there are unwanted side effects such as "s***ting pants in public".

She said: "I think I'm slowly but surely making it too disgusting and too embarrassing to promote those teas for everyone. And then we could all live happily ever after!"

The former 'Playing It Straight' host recently branded Khloe, Cardi, Iggy Azalea and Amber Rose "liars" for endorsing weight loss drinks and accused them of having access to far more to stay slim than simply turn to the drinks.

Sharing promotional posts by the stars for 'FlatTummyCo.' on Twitter, she wrote: "Give us the discount codes to your nutritionists, personal chefs, personal trainers, airbrushers and plastic surgeons you bloody liars."

Jameela then went on to open up about her own battle with eating disorders and admitted she had "listened to irresponsible celebrities" and permanently damaged her health.

Sharing a screenshot of her earlier tweet on Instagram, she said: " I am so sick of the lies. I was so riddled with eating disorders when I was young. I listened to irresponsible celebrities and bought all these bad products and followed their TERRIBLE and toxic diet tips for how they maintained the tiny weight they were... and I f***ed up my metabolism and digestive system for life.

"I damaged my fertility, I was consumed and mentally ill. I was obsessed and didn't eat a meal for over three years as a growing teen.

"I am not going to stop until we teach people to be better allies to women and stop selling this not at all medically sound shit and rhetoric to us. UNFOLLOW THE PEOPLE WHO TELL YOU THINGS THAT MAKE YOU FEEL BAD (sic)"
