Jacko Gill's eyes have been opened up

Jacko Gill's eyes have been opened up

The Kiwi shotputter is back to fulltime competition, after sitting out a year with myocarditis - an inflammation of the heart caused by a virus.

Gill says it's resulted in some changes both physically and mentally.

He says the heart damage is reversible, and the time off made him realise how much he loves the sport and wants to give it a go.
