    Any records broken at today's Vertical Pursuit will stand


    Last year, there was a slight downhill as part of the pole vault setup in downtown Auckland, meaning any records were ruled invalid.

    That included Eliza McCartney getting over 4.90m, which would've been a New Zealand record.

    As she chases world championship qualification, Olivia McTaggart says it's handy everything will matter.

    She says they've made sure that for example she qualifies for the world championships, then it will be an official

    The Vertical Pursuit has just got underway .
