The Southern Steel have extended their buffer in second spot on the ANZ netball Premiership ladder

They've beaten the Northern Mystics 66-60 in Dunedin - their eighth win of the season.
They now are six points ahead of the third place Northern Stars and seven points off the top of the table Central Pulse.
But coach Reinga Bloxham says that still isn't a comfortable buffer.
She says mathematically they could be at some stage, but they're more focussed on doing their best in each game.
