A section of Middlemore's Kidz First hospital, has been sectioned off to fight measles

A section of Middlemore's Kidz First hospital, has been sectioned off to fight measles

The 12-bed ward has two patents in it, in an attempt to isolate the disease - with more than 140 cases in Middlemore this year.

Acting general manager Carmel Ellis says they isolated the ward last week, and will keep it that way as long as is needed.

Ellis says Auckland Regional Public Health Service has predicted levels will climb until mid-September.
