Police have arrested a second person over the death of a woman in Whanganui

Police have arrested a second person over the death of a woman in Whanganui

30-year-old Jasmine Wilson died in Wellington Hospital four weeks ago, two days after she'd suffered non-accidental injuries.

A 48-year-old man was arrested last Friday, charged with perverting the course of justice.

A 28-year-old woman has now been arrested and will appear in court next week on the same charge.

Police are asking anyone with any information to come forward.
