    Jacko Gill has put two injury-plagued years behind him to reach his first world championship shot put final


    The 24-year-old's qualified for Sunday's finale in Doha with a throw of 21.12 metres in qualifying.



    Earlier defending champion Tom Walsh eased into the final with a throw of 21.92 metres.
