    First responders of Canterbury's horror crashes will be honoured this week at the Canterbury Road Trauma Awards


    The regions road toll now stands at 40 for the year - after the deaths of two motorcyclists on Dyers Pass Road on Sunday

    Road Traffic Accident Trauma Charitable Trust Founder and crash survivor Sarah Dean says not all of those on the front line will be able to be there... because of the the nature of their work

    But they will still be honoured.

    Awards also go to those involved in post-accident care and those who help prevent crashes.
