    The Australian baseball league's defending champion Brisbane Bandits have edged the Auckland Tuatara 4-2 to open the series between the two sides in Brisbane

    All six runs in the game came via solo home runs with the Tuatara scoring through Josh Morgan at the top of the first and catcher Jonny Homza in the top of the fifth.
