    Australia wants to take advantage of Lockie Ferguson's expected absence on day two of the first cricket test against the Black Caps


    The debutant paceman is battling a calf injury and is unlikely to play a role in the rest of the test.

    Centurion Marnus Labuschagne says they want to keep the Black Caps bowling for a while.

    Labuschagne will resume on 110, with Australia 248 for four.

    Former All Black prop Brian 'Jazz' Muller has passed away at the age of 77.

    Muller played 35 matches for the All Blacks including 14 tests between 1967 and 1971.

    He played 65 matches for Taranaki between 1963 and 1972 and was famous for cutting his hedge with a lawn mower.
