    New Zealand start as favourites to clinch a place in Asia Oceania group one of tennis' Fed Cup this afternoon


    The Kiwis take on the Philippines in the group two final in Wellington.

    Crushing wins over Mongolia, Pakistan and Singapore were expected.

    But the Philippines upset Thailand to win the other group and won't be underestimated.

    Captain Marina Erakovic is expected to play Paige Hourigan and Valentina Ivanov in the singles with Emily Fanning likely to partner Erin Routliffe in the doubles.

    Play's just got underway.
