The Wellington Phoenix will head to Sydney this afternoon with an open-ended ticket

The club will see out the A-League season in New South Wales, heading first to an isolation facility for a fortnight before they can resume playing.

Football operations manager Shaun Gill says they fly out this afternoon from the capital and will essentially begin the procedure there.



A revised draw is expected to be released in the coming days, with teams to play every three days.
