We're being urged to update our contact details with our GPs, should we need to be contacted about Covid-19

Thousands of people have been contacted by Ministry of Health staff, as a dedicated team tracks everyone who has come into contact with a confirmed case of Covid-19.

There are now 950 cases of the virus in New Zealand and the Government's dedicated contact tracing service has got in touch with five thousand people thought to have been in contact with them.

Nearly 200 people are part of the team which is led by qualified nurses.
