A fire investigator's been sent to work out why a house went up in flames in Rotorua

A fire investigator's been sent to work out why a house went up in flames in Rotorua

Firefighters were called to Waiteti Road in Ngongotaha just before half past seven this morning.

Shift manager Kaisey Cook says the blaze has been under control since eight o'clock, and two crews are dampening down hotspots.

She says Fire and Emergency had received multiple calls and the fire was well alight when firefighters arrived.

Everyone inside the house got out okay.
