What are the labelling requirements and what sort of production monitoring system will there be?

What are the labelling requirements and what sort of production monitoring system will there be?

These are among 10 key questions being posed in an editorial in the New Zealand Medical Journal about the Government's cannabis legislation.

The public will vote in a cannabis referendum at the general election in September - the bill which New Zealanders will vote on was released earlier this month.

Co-author Massey University associate professor Chris Wilkins says the Government needs to provide some more information on how it sees the market.

He says they need to clarify things like how high will the tax be, how potent will things other than cannabis plant be, and the role of social benefit and not for profits in the market.
