A construction company disagrees with ASB figures which expect demand to fall in the coming months

It's forecasting demand for the sector will decrease after building consents fell 27 percent over March and April, as a result of lockdown.

New Zealand Certified Builders Chief Executive Grant Florence says his members are reporting a full schedule for the rest of the year.

He says a recent survey with their members shows between 65 and 70 percent have work planned in the next six months or more.
