The Central Pulse have produced a clinical first half performance to ease past the Northern Mystics 44-38 in the ANZ Premiership in Auckland

The defending champions led 27-13 at half-time and extended their advantage to as much as 16 points in the third quarter.
Pulse coach Yvette McCausland-Durie says they applied defensive pressure and everyone played their part in the first half.
The Pulse remain unbeaten with seven wins, while the Mystics stay second.
