Eight losses on the trot, but Chiefs coach Warren Gatland hasn't lost his sense of humour

Eight losses on the trot, but Chiefs coach Warren Gatland hasn't lost his sense of humour

The Chiefs have one final chance to avoid a winless campaign when they face the Hurricanes in Wellington on Saturday night.

Gatland has been asked what improvements he'd like to see to Super Rugby next year in whatever form it takes

Meanwhile, a milestone match for Hurricanes winger Wes Goosen who will play his 50th game for the side.

Coach Jason Holland has paid tribute to his professionalism.

There's no place in the 23 for former All Blacks wing Julian Savea, but Dane Coles returns from a back niggle to start at hooker.

Meanwhile New Zealand Rugby and the Hurricanes have re-signed midfielder Peter Umaga Jenson through to 2022 and hooker Asafa Aumua to 2023.
