The Monetary Policy Committee is expanding the Large Scale Asset Purchase Programme from 60 billion dollars to 100 billion.
Governor Adrian Orr says the use of other stimuli will depend on the outlook for inflation and employment.
He says the package includes things like a negative official cash rate and supported funding for retail banks on lending.
Orr says purchases of foreign assets also remain an option.
