The SPCA is looking for kitten loving New Zealanders to help them tackle this years Kitten Season

Kitten season begins in spring and peaks over summer.

In that time kittens make up 75 per cent of all animals taken in to the SPCA.

Wellington-based national manager Ros Alsford says people can help by fostering kittens.

She says once the kittens are old enough adopting one would also be great.
