    The Wellington men's cricket side has tightened its grip atop the Super Smash ladder with a thrilling seven wicket win over Canterbury


    Firebirds batsman Tom Blundell scored 62 off 42 to steer Wellington's successful chase of 154.

    Canterbury upset the Wellington women's side with a nine wicket win earlier in the day.
