Anyone who visited Kmart Botany during the hours a confirmed Covid-19 case was working over the weekend, should immediately self-isolate

Anyone who visited Kmart Botany during the hours a confirmed Covid-19 case was working over the weekend, should immediately self-isolate

The Ministry of Health says two siblings of the case announced earlier yesterday from Papatoetoe High School, have tested positive.

One of those siblings, a teenager, worked at the Kmart Botany store between four and 10 pm last Friday and Saturday.

Anyone who was there at these times is considered a casual plus contact.

They need to self-isolate and call Healthline.

A casual plus contact is someone who had limited exposure to an original case.

So far, 31 Kmart staff have been identified as close contacts.

The store was closed last night for a deep clean.

Other locations of the three new cases are continuing to be investigated and will be notified when available.
