The French rugby team's Covid-19 protocols will be strengthened, with players and staff forbidden from leaving their hotel ahead of Six Nations games

The French rugby team's Covid-19 protocols will be strengthened, with players and staff forbidden from leaving their hotel ahead of Six Nations games

Federation president Bernard Laporte has announced the move after their match against Scotland was postponed last weekend due to 12 players and five staff testing positive for the coronavirus.

French players were seen in the streets of Rome eating waffles before their opener against Italy on February 6, and coach Fabien Galthie left camp to attend his son's rugby game in Paris the following day.
