    Five people have been taken to Dunedin Hospital after a small boat capsized near Taieri Mouth


    Emergency services were called to the area at about 1 this afternoon after the vessel flipped as it was trying to cross the bar.

    An adult and two children are in a serious condition, while another adult and child are in a moderate condition.

    The boat has yet to be recovered.
