A new study shows it's crucial for pregnant women to effectively manage their depression

Otago University research shows almost half of women taking an antidepressant pre-pregnancy, stop during pregnancy.
Lead author Dr Sarah Donald says uncontrolled depression during pregnancy is linked to poorer outcomes for a woman and her baby.
She says it's important the woman sits down with her GP to talk through what's best for her - whether that's staying on her medication, or not.
