    Eliza McCartney has some unfinished business to take care of


    The 24-year-old pole vaulter has three opportunities to qualify for the Tokyo Olympics in Auckland next month, with the first on June 5th.

    It hasn't been smooth sailing for McCartney after winning bronze at the Rio 2016 Games, with a persistent achilles injury keeping her out of competitions since 2019.

    She says if the qualifying events don't go her way, she doesn't plan on stepping away from the sport.
