The growing number of bank branches closing down is worrying farmers

A Federated Farmers survey has found 42 per cent of farmers need local branches to carry out their businesses.
More than half are worried about the impact of closures on their local communities.
President Andrew Hoggard says the closures are another hit to confidence and make doing business in rural areas harder.
He says it's another reason for young people to look to the city for their future -- instead of agriculture.
