Kiwi supercars driver Andre Heimgartner's hoping for a change in fortunes ahead of this weekend's Supersprint series in Townsville

The Kelly Racing representative's failed to finish any higher than seventh since his win back in race nine.

He finished 12th in both of last weekend's Townsville outings.

Heimgartner explains why he runs better on some tracks than others.

Qualifying begins at quarter to four this afternoon before race 17 at quarter to seven this evening.
