Aston Villa's netted three second half goals to stun in-form Everton 3-nil in the English Premier League, handing the Toffees their first defeat of the new season

Earlier Liverpool moved into first on the ladder with a 3-nil win at home to Crystal Palace.

Manager Jurgen Klopp says it was a tough battle given their short turnaround from a midweek Champions League fixture.

Manchester City have been held to a nil-all draw with Southampton at home.

Arsenal, Brentford and Watford all claimed wins.
