A six-week drug bust has led to eight arrests in Wairoa - with more than 60 police involved in searching properties

Police seized cash, firearms and methamphetamine... and restrained more than a million dollars worth of property including a motorbike, jet ski and six vehicles.

Four women and four men have been arrested.

Detective Inspector Brent Greville says the searches send a clear message to those who deal drugs in the community.
