Calls for Dilworth School to properly accept the role it played in the sexual abuse that went on there

Calls for Dilworth School to properly accept the role it played in the sexual abuse that went on there

The school announced earlier this month it would make payments to abused students, with more than 100 boys thought to have been victims over a 40-year period.

Eleven men have been charged in relation to the abuse, one of whom has been jailed already.

Dilworth Class Action representative and survivor Neil Harding, claims the school covered up the abuse and needs to acknowledge it.

He says until the school does there won't be a proper redress.

Dilworth Trust Board chairman Aaron Snodgrass says it's been two years since the school first apologised to victims and announced proactive steps to address the abuse.
