    A man in his 20s is in hospital in Auckland after a shooting in Blockhouse Bay


    It happened around 7 last night on Dundale Avenue.

    Officers found the man on a driveway and he was taken to Auckland City Hospital in a critical condition.

    He's had surgery and is now in a stable condition.

    Police want anyone with information, who may have seen suspicious activity in the Dundale Avenue area to call 105 or Crime Stoppers.

    A guard's in place and a scene examination's underway.
