Another day - anther deadline for when we'll be told where the next America's Cup event will be held

Another day - anther deadline for when we'll be told where the next America's Cup event will be held

The protocol for the event is out, with the announcement of a March 31 deadline for the venue to be set.

Confirmation of the racing dates between January and September 2024, effectively keeps the door open for Auckland as a possible setting.

Strict nationality rules, measures to cut cost, the return of the youth cup and introduction of a women's cup are features of the protocol for AC37.

Teams will only be able to build one AC75 while the defender is able to race in the Challenger round robin series, a change from the last regatta in Auckland.
