Scientists are already testing the impact of the Omicron variant on the Covid-19 vaccine

BioNTech, the company partnered with Pfizer, says they've already started investigations and expect more data from tests in the next fortnight.

It says that'd shed light on whether the vaccine will work well against the variant, or whether the jab will need to be adjusted.
